If the player chooses to sign an offer sheet from another team then his first group will be notified. That team then has seven days to match the offer or let the player go into the new team. The team that"matches" the offer cannot trade the player for one year. If the offer is not"matched" then the team must compensate the initial team on a sliding scale based upon the value of this contract.
